Felt the need to post this as it's not got great reviews . Firstly my wife is usually a a stickler for checking reviews before we eat anywhere and we would never have contemplated coming here however we just popped in as our daughter was napping in the pram. Initially we just thought we would get a drink but ended up eating here. My wife got the tuna steak which was one of specials . I ordered pork chop which was 12.50 I wasn't expecting much for that price but when it came it was a big chop. All in all the food was very good and decent price .

Lovely setting. Delicious traditional fresh calamari and an excellent inexpensive house white wine.

Typical beach restaurant, we had to wait. Service was good food was good and it is a very busy place. My kid ordered spaghetti but changed his mind when they brought the spaghetti, and he asked for macaroni, so they brought macaroni instead after only 2 minutes after we asked. great!!!

Nice place with nice prices. Tried the pasta bolognese and it was well spiced with basil and much tomatoes. Only downside is, I asked the camarera for the bill, ok she said and then she disappeared. 20 min. later I asked another waiter and got the bill. Strange indeed. Never saw the waitress again.

I can’t fault this restaurant! I came here as part of a group of 4. The chairs were comfortable, the service was fast and friendly. The drinks were cold (good!), and the wait staff brought warm bread to us promptly. Wr had the seafood paella for 4… and it was amazing! Very happy with everything about this place: and the bill was good too. Don’t understand the less than 4 stars - we Really enjoyed it!

Fresh sea bass grilled on the BBQ was excellent. Probably the best fish I ever had. My wife had a chicken salad, it was too very good.

We had lunch here after a couple of hours on the beach. We didn't want anything to heavy before our walk back up the steps home, so we opted for two dishes from the starter menu. Melon with Iberico Ham and langostin Pil-Pil and bread. My langostines were fresh and meaty, served cooking in oil infused with garlic, chilli and tomato. They were absolutely delicious and I enjoyed soaking up the remaining oil in the fresh bread we'd ordered. The melon was served thinly sliced and its cool sweetness contrasted beautifully with the saltiness of the cured ham. The service was quick and friendly and the views of the beach uninterrupted. I would happily reccomend eating at José Cruz

The fresh sea bass was excellent, possibly the best I have ever eaten. My wife also enjoyed the fresh sardines. The atmosphere was very relaxed and unrushed but the service was very quick. I'd happily recommend this place if you want some excellent fresh fish or just a relaxing drink.
